PROCESS TO BECOME AN APPROVED VOLUNTEER

Parent Volunteer

If you would like to help at Practices, in the Dugout, or participate as an
Umpire, please follow these steps:
  1. Register to Volunteer (unless you've already registered when registering your son/daughter): Register
  2. Notify your Team's Manager that you have registered to volunteer. Within a few days you should receive an invitation to complete a Background Check from JDP. Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you have not seen it come through.

Manager or Assistant Coach

If you would like to volunteer as a manager or assistant coach, please follow these steps:

  1. Register to Manage/Assistant Coach (unless you've already registered when registering your son/daughter): Register
  2. Complete Background Check: Notify your Team's Manager that you have registered to volunteer. Within a few days each person should then receive an invitation to complete your Background Check through JDP. Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you have not seen it come through.

  4. Send a copy of the completed Concussions, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Abuse Awareness Certificates to the WLL Safety Officer at safety.officer@woodinvillelittleleague.org
  5. Attend Safety Meeting/Positive Coaching Alliance Training

All volunteers who have completed their background checks are issued Identification Badges. These are to be worn
at all times while on the field. The badges will be distributed to your Manager. Questions regarding ID badges can be
sent to safety.officer@woodinvillelittleleague.org
